Blog and wiki twinning in Scotland

Getting students to blog, or produce a wiki, provides them with a great opportunity to assess their own learning, summarise and use technology. The real power of such technologies comes with the ability for comments to be made on the work students have done. Within the school, this can be limited. It's possible to use the CommendsForKidz page here to gain some attention for your young technologists, but this page is aimed at providing a "classifieds" section for school matches. This is specific to Scotland, because the eTwinning project is the best resource for international twinning. Sometimes it's best to go local.
Generally, this page can be used to:
  • Advertise a blog that you wish to pair with another school
  • Advertise paired blogs as an example of this practice
  • Develop the idea of blog/wiki twinning in Scotland as a means to improve feedback and debate
Add your twinning requests/examples below, in a format similar to the blog list format, please!

Third Year Blog
PLiddle, St. Columba's High School, Fife
Our Third Year Blog is looking for another Third (or Fourth?) year Standard Grade Computing class. We will be putting up lesson summaries, quizzes, revision packs and links to interesting stories about Computing. We hope that we can find another school that will review and reply to our posts, comment on our work, do our quizzes, and post on blogs that we can read, in a similar way!
